Welcome to the website of the Carroll Cardinals Youth Football Program (“CCYF,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). CCYF is a nonprofit youth football organization that provides flag and tackle football opportunities for students in 3rd through 6th grade.

By accessing or using our website, registering a player, volunteering, or otherwise interacting with the Carroll Cardinals Youth Football Program, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this website or participate in online services provided by CCYF.

CCYF reserves the right to deny or revoke participation if inaccurate information is provided or if league rules are violated.


3. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents or guardians registering a participant agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Ensure the participant follows league rules and sportsmanship standards

  • Maintain updated contact information for communication purposes

  • Promptly notify the league of relevant medical conditions or safety concerns

  • Respect coaches, volunteers, officials, and other participants

Parents and guardians acknowledge that youth sports involve physical activity and assume responsibility for ensuring their child is physically able to participate.


4. Code of Conduct

The Carroll Cardinals Youth Football Program promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.

All participants, parents, coaches, volunteers, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and positive manner.

Prohibited conduct may include, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment or intimidation of players, coaches, or officials

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior

  • Disruptive or abusive language

  • Physical altercations or threats

  • Interference with games or practices

CCYF reserves the right to take disciplinary action, which may include warnings, suspension, or removal from the program.


5. Volunteer and Coaching Participation

Coaches and volunteers play an essential role in the Carroll Cardinals Youth Football Program.

Individuals who volunteer as coaches, assistant coaches, or team helpers may be required to:

  • Complete volunteer registration forms

  • Follow program rules and safety guidelines

  • Demonstrate appropriate conduct with youth participants

  • Pass background screening if required by league policy

CCYF reserves the right to approve or deny volunteer participation at its discretion.


6. Registration Fees and Payments

Participation in the program may require payment of registration fees. These fees help cover league expenses such as:

  • Equipment

  • Field use

  • Uniforms

  • Insurance

  • Operational costs

All fees must be paid in accordance with the registration process and deadlines provided by CCYF.

7. Assumption of Risk

Participation in youth football, including both flag and tackle formats, involves inherent risks of physical activity and potential injury.

By registering a participant, parents or guardians acknowledge that:

  • Football is a contact sport

  • Injuries may occur despite safety precautions

  • Participation is voluntary

Parents or guardians accept these risks and agree that CCYF, its volunteers, coaches, and affiliated personnel cannot guarantee the prevention of injuries.

Additional waivers or liability releases may be required during registration.


8. Media and Photography

During practices, games, and events, CCYF may take photographs or videos for purposes such as:

  • League promotion

  • Website and social media content

  • Community engagement

  • Program documentation

By participating in the program, families acknowledge that players may appear in group photos or activity footage unless a parent or guardian specifically requests otherwise.

Requests regarding media use should be directed to league administrators.


9. Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the CCYF website, including but not limited to:

  • Logos

  • Graphics

  • Text

  • Schedules

  • Documents

  • Photographs

is the property of the Carroll Cardinals Youth Football Program unless otherwise noted.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without permission from CCYF.


10. Website Use Restrictions

Users of the CCYF website agree not to:
